Offensively no but they have allowed just 3 goals in their last 5 MLS matches and shut out the Galaxy less than a month ago. LA could only get one goal when facing good defensive teams, during a recent run against Chicago, Columbus, and Houston.

Low scoring and that means anything can happen, I just hate to see a team that is allowed to “bend” the rules on such a regular basis be rewarded.

Rex, I think Ricketts is a good keeper but to be honest I don’t think of him as a difference maker in the match. Last year LA was the worst defensive team in the league and they brought in a great mix of new blood both young and old and their overall defensive play improved (Bruce coaches that way).

I know people hate me to say things like this but I know the international interest in the match woudl be higher with LA in but hopefully we won’t have any controversy about how either side makes it to the final match. I hope with the new CBA, that all teams are forced to play by the same set of rules.

I agree. Houston has a better team, but you can never count out a team with Beckham and Donovan. Also ricketts is key. The difference could be a save from ricketts and one good run by Donovan or a spectacular ball for Beckham.
