Real Salt Lake 3 - Toronto FC 0 (pictures and thoughts)

Well RSL proved again that they can use Rio Tinto as a huge advantage, after starting a bit flat they quickly turned things around and dominated most of the match with a 14 to 7 edge in shots taken, and a 8-2 lead in shots on goal. Yura’s goal in the 21st minute was impressive because he created his own opportunity by playing defense and took advantage to chip a great ball over the keeper, the team picked up both in spirits and in performance after that. Javi and Clint did a great job of setting up Kyle for his second goal of the season. I am going to stop at halftime because I only have had time to go through my first half pictures. Here are some of the highlights:

Tony again matches up with one of the top players in the league and handles himself very well

It appears that Leo hurt his paw and had to be carted around tonight

De Ro wasn’t happy most of the night

Which Kyle put in the back of the net and did his eye patch tribute to the RCB

Maybe that call up to the US Gold Cup squad helped motivate Kyle

Not sure what the bow and arrow thing is about, but he was one happy camper

A great first half for RSL
