Open House Info

Rio Tinto Stadium will hold an Open House tomorrow, Saturday, March 21st, presented by Sandy City.  The Open House will include a first team game vs. the Austin Aztex kicks off at 1:00 p.m.  The event is free to the public, and seating for that event will be general admission.  Gates will open at 11:00 a.m.

As part of this event, there will be a Sandy City SoccerFest fundraiser taking place on the east side of the stadium beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the morning.  The proceeds of the fundraiser will go towards the Sandy City Rotary Club Foundation.

Following the game, all 24 RSL players will be available on the concourse for a photo opportunity with all fans.  Autographs will be permitted secondarily as time permits.  The players will be split up in groups of 3 players around the concourse, so that we can avoid a mass congestion in one location of the stadium.  Each attendee that day will receive a map designating the location of each player so that you can be organized in your efforts to catch the players you want to see!  We will also be providing an opportunity for the first 10 accounts that purchase new season tickets (at the event) to receive a RSL game-worn, autographed jersey from tomorrow’s game.

The first shipment of 2009 RSL team gear, including 2008 team stadium jackets, is now in stock at the RSL Team Store.  As a reminder, RSL Season Ticket Holders receive 25% off of purchase at that location.

It is gameday

While the rest of MLS has or will kick off their season this weekend, RSL must wait, but as a fan could it get much better than a 70 degree day in March, the stadium is hosting an Open House, and Real Salt Lake will be in action in an exhibition match? See you there.
