Real Salt Lake vs. Chivas USA Photo recap

A few pictures for your enjoyment
Well looking back at the Real Salt Lake 1-0 victory over Chivas, I realize that trying to take photos and be a fan watching the match is hard, if you’re trying to do both of those along with cheering for your team it is even harder, so I don’t have a picture of the goal, despite being 4 feet away from the goal. I was too busy cheering, I have a couple pics of the celebration of the fans, but again I was too busy for many photos, because I was celebrating with them. Like opening day the RSL FO gave fans a nice token of their appreciation (I should have grabbed more than 1 of these)

So how many actual Chivas USA jerseys do you see? When I asked these folks if they could name 5 players on the Chivas USA squad, none of them answered.
I bet these guys could name everyone of RSL’s starting 11

Robbie gets a good header on goal, but Thornton punches it over the goal
Robbie gets up for another header, but it goes just wide. Findley can get up there with the best of them
So when the FCB or RCB bring a couple smoke bombs people get kicked out, here security waits and doesn’t react until after the match but you have to ask yourself if RSL’s fans did this what would the reaction have been. Rumor is that one person (I heard the guy in the red shirt with the blue tube shooting bottle rockets) was arrested, but there should have been over a dozen people tossed for this, but security was too busy watching people who were behaving. Funny thing is that RSL scored just after the Chivas fans celebrated.

I will be doing my end of season awards and my report card on the regular season this week, as well as looking at what RSL will have to do in order to not only get a result at the HDC, but what they need to do in order to get the win.
But all of that will have to wait because Monday night is Metallica live at the Energy Solutions Arena, and I will be there.
